Bliss | Makaha
I always found myself going to the west side of Oahu and admiring the different range of colours of the mountains. Since the west side has a much drier climate than the rest of the island, the mountains take longer for them to change to green. The grass, leaves, and trees take a lot longer to grow from the summer heat.
This painting aims to capture the feeling of Bliss. Being submerged in the ocean with the view of the golden mountains- nothing could go wrong.
